It's quite common for people to forget. To consciously, or unconsciously, block things out. When one experiences pain, physical or psychological, the mind doesn't want the brain to remember. The psyche's way of protecting you.

Remembering can bring about negative emotions such as
sadness and regret. Retrospect can be a very bad thing
altogether..

A young woman has lost ten years of her life. She wants them back - or does she?  Emotional detox, cod psychology and consumer economics take their toll in this comic drama, written by Laura Evers Johns and starring
Natasha Lee Lewis, James Harrington and James Owen.

Directed by Jacqui Honess-Martin, Better Forget was performed in August 2006.
