Cast + Crew biographies:

Natasha Lee Lewis - Rose

Natasha graduated from the Central School of Speech and Drama last year. Roles whilst training include Carol in Oleanna, and Viola in Twelfth Night (Embassy Theatre, Hampstead).

Professional / fringe theatre credits include: Florinda in The Rover (Etcetera Theatre), Valparaiso (Old Red Lion), Olivia in Ghosts in the Attic (Brockley Jack Theatre), Alice in After Juliet (Cottesloe Theatre), Suzanne in Clutching the Moon (Sherman Theatre), Ophelia in Hamlet (Aberystwyth Arts Centre), and devisor / multi roles with physical theatre / devised companies 'Theatre Trash' and 'Bite the Egg', performing at Edinburgh Fringe Festival venues The Guilded Balloon and The Pleasance.

Film roles include Velma in Guardian of the Night (Guacamole Productions), Lucy in Wait and Kneel (London Film School). Voice-over work: Narrator for classic children's story podcast Storynory and presenter for Schools Safety Project (NYT Productions).



James Harrington - Dr Wainwright

James trained at Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art. Whilst training James played a number of roles including Philip in The Deep Blue Sea, John Daveport in Cause Celebre, and Chrysale in The Sisterhood. Since graduating James has undertaken a number of theatre roles includin Mr John Knightley in Emma, Claudio in Much Ado About Nothing, Glenn in a new play by Ricky Beadle-Blaire, Guard in a new adaptation of Antigone and most recently Don in Universal Language, part of a trio of plays by David Ives, at the Bridewell Theatre.



James Owen - Oakley

James completed a postgraduate diploma at Mountview Academy in London after spending two years studying acting at Chichester College; he has also obtained his LAMDA Gold, ALAM and Stage Combat qualifications. He has played Clitandre in The Learned Ladies directed by Nigel Rideout, Brutus in an international tour of Julius Caesar and the title role in The Hostage.

Under the direction of Joe Harmston he played Salisbury in Tour-de-force's production of
Henry V at Arundel Castle and was asked back the following year to take part in Macbeth. More recently, James played Rob Drummond in The Shallow End at the Cochrane Theatre in London's West End and he has completed work on his first feature film.



Laura Evers Johns - writer

This is Laura's first produced play, developed from one scene over the course of the summer for the Open Secret Season. Laura is a freelance writer, primarily writing scripts for stage and screen. She is currently co-writing a short film for ArtsEd, due to be filmed this Autumn.

Laura was the Assistant Director for Crocodile Seeking Refuge at the Lyric Studio, 2004 (iceandfire Theatre Company) and she assisted the Associate Director for Precious Bane, UK tour, 2003 (Pentabus Theatre Company).

Laura is about to commence the second year of her MA in Creative Writing (Plays & Scripts) at City University, where she will be concentrating on writing a feature-length animation script for her major project.



Jacqui Honess-Martin - director

Jacqui graduated from Goldsmiths College in 2004. As Director of InSite Performance, she directed and adapted their inaugural production of Sophocles' Antigone. She is a member of Soho Theatre’s Core Writers’ Programme. Directing credits include: The Country, by Martin Crimp at the George Wood Theatre, and A Ring, a devised piece at London's The Space.
